摘要
法云寺位于山西省武乡县城东南25公里蟠龙镇,现藏七块北朝四面造像石、一尊北齐大佛头、一个须弥座以及八通清代重修碑碣。从造像石的形制、题材与风格来看,七块四面造像石中,五块雕凿于北魏晚期,两块雕凿于东魏至北齐初。清代八通碑碣中,七通与捐资重修法云寺有关,碑文记载了清代法云寺主要供奉三尊佛像并弟子、菩萨像,山门对面修建有戏台“德音楼”。
Fayun Temple is located in the southeast of Panglong Town,Wuxiang County,Shanxi Province,25 kilometers away from the county town.There are 7 pieces of four-sided statue stone of the Northern Dynasties,1 Buddha head of Northern Qi Dynasty,1 Sumeru Seat,and 8 tablets of the Qing Dynasty.From the statue stone form,statue subject matter and style,of the 7 four-sided sculpted stones,5 were carved during the late Northern Wei period,while 2 were carved from the Eastern Wei to the early Northern Qi period.In the 8 pieces qing dynasty stone tablets,7 pieces with donations to repair Fayun temple related.The inscriptions on the steles record that Fayun Temple mainly enshrined 3 Buddha statues,2 disciples'statues and 2 Bodhisattva statues.Opposite the gate of temple,there is a Deyin stage.
