双排水冷热顶铸造Φ493 mm结晶器设计及应用验证

摘要 为解决2×××、7×××系铝合金圆铸锭单排水冷热顶结晶器铸造工艺窗口窄、铸锭易产生中心裂纹的问题,设计制作了一种双排水冷热顶铸造结晶器,实现铸锭冷却过程的精细控制。对单排水冷结晶器与双排水冷结晶器铸造7A04铝合金铸锭的表面质量、化学成分、组织的对比分析表明,双排水冷结晶器铸造的铸锭表面质量更好,低倍组织偏析层深度更小,化学成分及显微组织与单排水冷结晶器铸造的铸锭相同。2024年7A04铝合金铸锭表面缺陷及中心裂纹占比统计结果显示,采用双排水冷结晶器铸造7A04铝合金铸锭的缺陷占比显著降低。 In order to solve the problems of narrow process window and easy occurrence of central cracks when casting 2×××and 7×××aluminum alloy round ingots with single-row water-cooling hot-top molds,double-row water-cooling hot-top molds have been designed and produced,which achieves fine control of the ingot cooling process.Comparative analysis of the surface quality,chemical composition,macrostructure and microstructure of 7A04 aluminum alloy ingots cast with the single-row and the double-row molds shows that the double-row molds lead to better surface quality and shallower segregation zone than the single-row molds,and the same chemical compositions and microstructure as the single-row molds.By counting the proportion of surface defects and central cracks in 7A04 aluminum alloy ingots(the data was collected in 2024),the defect proportion has been significantly reduced in the casting with the double-row molds.
