摘要
随着平台经济的兴起,依托大数据的算法管理正逐步替代传统的“管理监督”,成为平台型企业构建核心竞争力的关键所在。在算法控制下,数字零工群体因担心职场隐私权和自主工作控制权被平台剥夺而产生职业倦怠。作为平台企业高度依赖的新型管理手段,算法控制对零工劳动者职业倦怠的影响尚无清晰一致的研究结论,亟待探索其间的复杂关系及作用机理。基于“工作要求-资源”模型,深入分析算法控制的不同维度如何通过相对剥夺感影响零工劳动者的职业倦怠。结果表明:第一,算法追踪评估与算法行为约束会显著增强零工劳动者的相对剥夺感。第二,算法追踪评估和算法行为约束均通过唤起零工劳动者的相对剥夺感进而导致其产生职业倦怠,也即相对剥夺感在两者关系中起显著的中介作用。第三,算法规范指导作为一种技术支持资源,显著负向调节算法追踪评估和算法行为约束与相对剥夺感的关系。研究结论为学术界辩证认知算法控制这一新兴管理范式提供了依据,并为创建和谐的劳动环境、缓解新型就业群体的职业倦怠提供了实践参考。
With the rise of the platform economy,algorithm-based management relying on big data is gradually replacing traditional“management supervision”and has become a key element for platform enterprises to build core competitiveness.Under algorithmic control,gig workforce faces job burnout due to concerns that their workplace privacy rights and autonomous work control rights are being deprived of by platforms.As a new management method highly relied upon by platform enterprises,the impact of algorithmic control on gig workers’job burnout has not yet yielded clear and consistent research conclusions,making it urgent to explore the complex relationships and operational mechanisms involved.This study draws on the“Job Demands-Resources”model to investigate how perceived algorithmic control affects gig workers’job burnout.The research findings are as follows:First,both algorithmic tracking&evaluation as well as algorithmic behavioral constraints,have a significant positive impact on gig workers’sense of relative deprivation.Second,both algorithmic tracking and evaluation,and algorithmic behavioral constraints lead to job burnout among gig workers through triggering their sense of relative deprivation,meaning that the sense of relative deprivation plays a significant mediating role in these two relationships.Third,algorithmic normative guidance,as a form of technical support resource,significantly negatively moderates the relationship between algorithmic tracking and evaluation,as well as algorithmic behavioral constraints,and the sense of relative deprivation.The research conclusions provide a basis for the academic community to dialectically understand the emerging management paradigm of algorithmic control,and point out practical paths for orderly creating a harmonious working environment and alleviating job burnout among the new employment groups.
