摘要
纪年造像碑作为佛教造像研究的重要载体日益受到学界的重视,大多学者对国内造像碑研究较多,对流失海外的造像碑研究较少,维多利亚·阿尔伯特博物馆收藏的北魏神龟三年李僧智等造佛石像碑,具有极高的造像研究和史料价值,但缺少专项研究。本文通过铭文考释、造像内容和风格解析,发现此碑出于山西吉县,建造年代为北魏神龟三年,造像主题有上下生弥勒、释迦牟尼说法、维摩文殊对坐、思惟太子,造像整体风格继承北魏云冈石窟,混有南朝遗风。
As an important carrier for the study of Buddhist statues,chronological steles have increasingly garnered attention from the academic community.Most scholars have focused more on domestic steles while researching those lost overseas is relatively scarce.The Buddhist stone steles of Li Sengzhi and others from the third year of the Shengui era of the Northern Wei Dynasty,collected by the Victoria and Albert Museum,hold significant value in statue research and historical materials,yet they lack specialized research.Through the examination and interpretation of inscriptions,as well as the analysis of statue content and style,this paper discovers that this stele originates from Jixian County,Shanxi Province,and was constructed in the third year of the Shengui era of the Northern Wei Dynasty.The statue themes include the Upper and Lower Maitreya,the Buddha's teaching,the Vimalakirti and Manjusri sitting together,and the contemplative prince.The overall style of the statue inherits the Yungang Grottoes of the Northern Wei Dynasty,while also incorporating elements from the Southern Dynasties.
