摘要
在管道焊接工程中,其坡口加工精度和装配精度难以保证,同时在管道6点钟位置的根焊中,重力与焊接电弧力作用方向相反,容易出现焊接缺陷,影响施工质量。不同的坡口形状会影响熔池形状进而影响焊缝背面成形。采用STT根焊方法针对U形和V形坡口进行管道6点钟位置的根焊试验,探究不同坡口形状对焊缝背面成形的影响。试验结果表明:提高电流水平会提升电弧力水平,从而促进熔透。V形坡口相较于U形坡口焊接熔池体积较大,电弧力不足以支撑熔池重力,容易造成焊缝背面成形的凹陷。V形坡口相较于U形坡口底部较窄,电弧容易侧偏,热输入容易集中在侧壁导致难以熔透。
In the pipeline welding,the processing accuracy of groove and the fitting-up accuracy are difficult to kept consistent in practice;meanwhile,the gravity is in the opposite direction of the arc force when welding at 6 o’clock position,making it easy to have defect and to decrease the weld quality.The shape of groove will influence the shape of molten pool and further the backside weld geometry.In the present work,surface tension transfer(STT)welding was employed to weld the root pass of pipes with“U”groove and“V”groove at 6 o’clock position in order to explore the influences of groove type on the backside weld geometry.Experimental results showed that the increase in welding current can increase the arc force to promote the penetration degree.The molten pool volume of weld with“V”groove is larger than that with“U”groove,making arc force not large enough to support the molten pool and thus making the weld have a concave surface.Furthermore,“V”groove has a narrow space at the bottom.It can make the arc easily deflect to the side,making the arc have more heat on the sidewall and further having a partial penetration.
