摘要
中华人民共和国成立后,高等教育正式被纳入新中国教育体系,并确立了其社会主义性质。高等教育通过院系调整和布局调整服务于新中国的经济、工业、国防建设,确立了为党和国家发展战略服务的“顶天立地”使命。本文全面梳理了改革开放以来高等教育“顶天立地”使命的发展历程,剖析特点并展望未来。高等教育肩负重任,服务于改革开放、科教兴国、教育强国等战略,通过发挥人才培养、科学研究、社会服务的功能,不断发展完善“顶天立地”的使命与担当,高等教育成为推动社会主义现代化建设的重要力量。
Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,higher education has been officially incorporated into the new educational system and established its socialist nature.Subsequently,it made adjustment in department and layout to serve the economic,industrial and defense construction,establishing its mission of“reaching the sky and standing on the ground”for the development strategy of the Communist Party of China and the state.This article reviews the development course of the mission since the reform and opening-up,analyzes its characteristics and looks forward to the future.Higher education bears heavy responsibility,serves strategies such as reform and opening-up,revitalizing the country through science education,and building an educational powerhouse,exerts the functions of talent cultivation,scientific research and social service,and develops and improves the mission and responsibility,becoming an important force in promoting the construction of socialist modernization.
