本文回顾了莎士比亚十四行诗中译的百年历史,探讨了译作在中文语言与文化语境中的演变历程。作者不拟评判个别译者的技巧或译文优劣,而是采取以问题为导向的方法,聚焦莎士比亚十四行诗在中译过程中所面临的难题,考察译者为克服这些障碍而采取的策略,从而揭示这一独特文学交流中翻译诗学的内涵。
It has been over a century since Shakespeare’s sonnets were first translated into Chinese.This paper explores the evolution of these translations within the Chinese linguistic and cultural context.Rather than assessing the skill of individual translators or the quality of their works,this study adopts a problem-oriented approachto offer an overview of a century of translation history.By focusing on the challengesencountered in rendering Shakespeare’s sonnets into Chinese,the paper examines the strategies employed by translators to navigate these obstacles,ultimately providinginsights into the poetics of translation in this unique literary exchange.
