摘要
锌合金线材、型材广泛应用于工业和民用领域,其加工工艺随成分及截面形状而多变。连续挤压机可将铜、铝等棒坯一次性挤压成各种截面形状及尺寸的挤压制品,与卧式挤压机相比,具有工艺流程短、能耗低等优点,特别适合多变的合金成分、不同挤压制品截面形状和尺寸的工艺转换。连续挤压机在锌合金领域应用仍存在问题。本文分析连续挤压机在锌合金挤压中存在的问题及原因,改进挤压轮结构,在挤压轮型腔表面设置均布的不连续凹槽,增加棒坯与型腔内壁的摩擦力和剪切力,避免较低挤压温度条件下发生打滑或堵模现象,提高连续挤压机用于锌合金加工的稳定性。
Zinc alloy wires and profiles are widely used in industrial and civil applications,with processing techniques varying according to composition and cross-sectional shape.Continuous extruders can process copper,aluminum,and other billet materials into extruded products of various cross-sectional shapes and dimensions in a single pass.Compared to horizontal extruders,they offer advantages such as shorter process flows and lower energy consumption,making them particularly suitable for process conversions involving variable alloy compositions and diverse extruded product cross-sectional shapes and dimensions.However,challenges persist in applying continuous extruders to zinc alloys.This paper analyzes the problems and causes encountered in continuous extrusion of zinc alloys.It proposes an improved extrusion die design featuring uniformly distributed discontinuous grooves on the die cavity surface.This increases friction and shear forces between the billet and the cavity wall,preventing slippage or die blockage at lower extrusion temperatures,thereby enhancing the stability of continuous extrusion machines for zinc alloy processing.
