预电离参数对场畸变开关放电通道数目的影响研究

摘要 紫外预电离开关具有低抖动、低触发阈值、低电感和长寿命等优点,在脉冲功率装置中广泛应用。为进一步研究紫外预电离场畸变开关多通道放电特性,掌握关键预电离参数对开关各间隙放电通道数目的影响规律,本文提出了一种研究单一预电离参数对开关单一间隙放电通道数目的实验方法,重点研究了预电离注入时刻、预电离电流幅值、预电离持续时间对开关触发间隙和过压间隙放电通道数目的影响。实验结果表明:(1)触发间隙的放电通道数随预电离注入时刻的提前和预电离持续时间的增加而增加,也随着预电离电流幅值的增加而增大,且工作系数越高上述参数的影响作用越大。当无预电离作用时,触发间隙基本为单通道放电。(2)过压间隙由于受触发间隙放电紫外光的影响,其在无预电离电流时依然能够形成多通道放电。随预电离电流幅值的增加,过压间隙放电通道数目随之增加,且工作系数越高,通道数目增幅越大。(3)过压间隙的放电通道数目不受触发间隙击穿前预电离间隙放电紫外光的影响,随着触发间隙击穿后预电离电流持续时间的增加,过压间隙放电通道数目随之增加并最终趋于饱和。 UV pre-ionized switches offer key advantages such as low jitter,low trigger threshold,low inductance and long lifetime,making them highly promising for pulsed power application.To further study the multi-channel discharge characteristics of the UV pre-ionized field-distorted switch,this paper proposes an experimental method to investigate the effect of single pre-ionization parameter on the discharge channel number of single switch gap.The effects of pre-ionization injection time,current amplitude,and duration time on the discharge channel number in both the trigger and overvoltage gaps are experimentally studied.The experimental results show that the number of discharge channels in the trigger gap increases with advance of pre-ionization injection time and increase of pre-ionization duration time.At the same time,the number of discharge channels also increases with the increase of pre-ionization current amplitude.In the absence of pre-ionization current,there sustains typically a single discharge channel in the trigger gap.Due to the influence of ultraviolet radiation from the trigger gap,multi-channel discharge can still occur without pre-ionization in the overvoltage gap.The number of discharge channels increases with the increase of the pre-ionization current amplitude,and the increase amplitude is larger when the working coefficient is greater.Furthermore,the channel number is exclusively influenced by pre-ionization within a specific time window post-trigger-breakdown,and it is not affected by pre-ionization at other times.
