基于紫外预电离开关的低抖动、高幅值快脉冲触发源

摘要 设计并研制了一种低抖动、快前沿和高输出幅值的快脉冲触发源,由前级触发器和Mini-Marx发生器组成。前级触发器用于触发Mini-Marx发生器,Mini-Marx发生器用于产生高幅值、快前沿触发电脉冲。介绍了前级触发器和Mini-Marx发生器的工作原理及结构组成,重点对前级触发器中的电容自耦式紫外预电离陡化开关和Mini-Marx发生器中的紫外预电离场畸变开关进行试验研究,获得了两种开关的最佳工作参数。在此基础上,开展了快脉冲触发源在不同工作条件下的输出特性研究。试验结果表明:通过优化预电离间隙距离,电容自耦式紫外预电离陡化开关最小抖动为陡化前脉冲前沿的0.6%,紫外预电离场畸变开关最小抖动为0.65ns。当前级触发器输出电压幅值大于130 kV时,Mini-Marx发生器抖动小于2 ns,最低抖动达1.6 ns。在工作电压±70 kV条件下,快脉冲触发源输出电脉冲幅值约为316kV(负载电阻12.5Ω),前沿(10%~90%)约29ns,电压上升速率10.9kV·ns^(-1),半高宽约为250ns。 In this paper,a fast pulsed trigger generator with low jitter,fast rise-time and high output voltage amplitude is developed.The trigger is composed of a primary trigger generator and a Mini-Marx generator.The primary trigger generator is used to trigger the Mini-Marx generator,and the Mini-Marx is used to generate high amplitude and fast-rising front trigger pulses.The working principle and components of the fast pulsed trigger generator are introduced.The capacitance-coupling UV preionized peaking switch in the primary trigger generator and the UV preionized field-distortion switch in the Mini-Marx generator are investigated to obtain the optimal operating parameters for both switches.At the same time,the output characteristics of the pulsed trigger generator are studied experimentally.The experimental results show that the minimum jitter of the capacitance-coupling UV preionized peaking switch is 0.6% of its pulse risetime,and the minimum jitter of the UV preionized field-distortion switch is 0.65 ns.When the output voltage amplitude of the primary trigger generator is greater than 130 kV,the jitter of the Mini-Marx generator is less than 2 ns,with a minimum jitter of 1.6 ns.When the working voltage is±70 kV,the output voltage amplitude of the fast pulsed trigger generator is about 316 kV(load resistance is 12.5Ω),and the rise time(10%-90%)is about 29 ns.The voltage rise rate is about 10.9 kV·ns−1,and the full width at half maximum(FWHM)is about 250 ns.
