摘要
袁同礼与严文郁是我国著名的图书馆学家,也是国立北平图书馆发展史上的重要人物。两人自1925年开始共事,结下了深厚的友谊。1944年,严文郁离开国立北平图书馆后,两人交集减少。1946年至1949年,两人分别在北平、重庆两地主持国立图书馆的建设工作。文章通过对袁同礼1947年至1949年写给严文郁的4通书信进行考释,揭示了民国晚期我国图书馆事业发展中的一些重要史实,这对于民国图书馆史、图书馆学人研究具有重要的参考价值。
Yuan Tongli and Yan Wenyu are famous librarians in China and important figures in the development history of the National Beiping Library.They had been working together since 1925 and formed a deep friendship.After Yan Wenyu left the National Beiping Library in 1944,their interaction decreased.From 1946 to 1949,the two of them respectively presided over the construction of the National Library in Beiping and Chongqing.The article examines and interprets the four letters written by Yuan Tongli to Yan Wenyu from 1947 to 1949,revealing some important historical facts in the development of China’s library industry in the late Republic of China,which has important reference value for the history of libraries in the Republic of China and the research of library scholars.
