海南地幔柱的资源环境效应——以地热异常与玄武岩碳封存为例

摘要 海南地幔柱已经被越来越多的地球物理、地球化学数据所证实。海南地幔柱不仅导致了大规模的岩浆活动,还会形成与碳中和密切相关的资源环境效应,主要体现在地热清洁能源降碳和玄武岩碳封存自然吸碳、工程除碳等方面。本文研究表明:(1)海南地幔柱引发的大规模的岩浆活动,使雷琼火山区保持着一个相对较高的地热背景。玄武岩配合合适的地质构造,使福山凹陷在玄武岩分布区和沉积岩下部形成了明显的地热异常,是寻找干热岩的有利靶区,在5000 m左右已成功实施2眼干热岩孔(花东1R井在4387 m深度地温达185℃;福深热1井在5200 m深度地温达到188.71℃)。(2)海南地幔柱活动在琼北地区形成了大面积的玄武岩,其赋存特征与美国Wallula项目的哥伦比亚玄武岩类似,玄武岩钙、镁、铁金属元素丰富且孔隙比较发育,初步估算琼北地区CO_(2)理论矿化封存量可达2.0~48.5 Gt,具有较大的CO_(2)矿化封存潜力。(3)良好的玄武岩地质条件,不但使雷琼地区有可能率先建成国内玄武岩CO_(2)原位矿化封存工程,还有望形成以碳封存为主、同时产生可溶性钾盐和氢气等高附加值产品的低碳产业链。 The Hainan mantle plume has been increasingly substantiated by geophysical and geochemical data.In addition to driving large-scale magmatic activity,the Hainan mantle plume has significant implications for resource and environmental effects closely related to carbon neutrality.These effects are primarily manifested in the form of geothermal clean energy contributing to carbon reduction,as well as natural and engineered carbon sequestration through basalt carbonation.This paper’s research shows that:(1)The extensive magmatic activity triggered by the Hainan mantle plume has maintained a relatively high geothermal background in the Leiqiong volcanic region.The combination of basalt and suitable geological structures has led to the formation of pronounced geothermal anomalies in the Fushan sag within the basalt distribution area and beneath the sedimentary rocks,making it a favorable target for dry hot rock exploration.Successful drilling of two dry hot rock wells has been achieved at approximately 5000 m depth(Huadong 1R well reaching a temperature of 185℃at 4387 m depth;Fushen-1 well reaching a temperature of 188.71℃at 5200 m depth).(2)The activity of the Hainan mantle plume has resulted in the formation of extensive basaltic formations in the northern Hainan region,with occurrence characteristics similar to the Columbia basalt of the Wallula project in the United States.The basalt is rich in calcium,magnesium,and iron,and has relatively well-developed porosity.Preliminary estimates suggest that the theoretical capacity for CO_(2) mineral sequestration in the northern Hainan region ranges from 2.0 to 48.5 Gt,indicating significant potential for CO_(2) mineral storage.(3)Favorable basaltic geological conditions not only make it possible for the Leiqiong region to take the lead in establishing the first in-situ basalt CO_(2) mineral sequestration project in China,but also hold promise for the development of a low-carbon industrial chain centered on carbon sequestration,while simultaneously producing high value-added products such as soluble potash and hydrogen.
