摘要
电影作为跨文化交流的媒介,其翻译的字幕备受人们的关注。不仅是原文文本,包括翻译后的文本都引人深思。语言的模糊性是人类交际中普遍存在的特性,在影视文本中,模糊语更是承载着塑造人物形象、推动剧情发展、传递深层情感与文化内涵的重要功能。本文旨在以电影《肖申克的救赎》为例,从模糊语这一知识点切入,来研究影视模糊语的翻译策略与方法。
As a medium for cross-cultural communication,the subtitles of film translations command significant attention.Both the original and translated texts provoke profound reflection.Ambiguity is a universal feature of human communication.Within cinematic texts,ambiguous language serves vital functions:shaping character portrayals,advancing plot development,and conveying profound emotions and cultural connotations.This study examines translation strategies and methods for ambiguous language in film,using The Shawshank Redemption as a case study.
