摘要
对于电影的片名,在进行翻译时既要准确表达电影的信息,同时又应具有美感,能吸引观众的注意力,这就需要译者结合语言特点、电影内容和观众文化背景等因素去选择翻译策略。在中外电影的交流过程中,片名翻译经历了从刚开始的简单直译,到后来有意识的归化翻译,再到近年来不断尝试的异化翻译。
Film title translation requires accurate expression and aesthetic perception, which means the translator should consider the linguistic feature, the subject of the film and the cultural background of the audience. In terms of the exchange of Chinese and western films, there have been different phases of film title translation. Initially the literal translation played a significant role, and then the domesticating method has prevailed for some time. Recently, foreignizing method becomes a new force of discourse in the domain of film title translation.
