西方知名大学地理学研究生培养特色与启示

Characteristics and Implications of Postgraduate Training in Geography in Renowned Western Universities

摘要 课程教育对研究生知识体系构建、创新能力培养和综合素质提升影响巨大。以2020年QS和上海软科教育信息咨询公司提供的世界大学地理学专业排名榜为依据,选择11所西方知名大学作为研究样本,从课程体系和课程内容设置分析地理学硕士研究生培养特色。结果表明,西方名校在地理学硕士研究生课程设置方面注重多学科交叉融合,兼顾科学主义和实用主义,强调人文情怀,关注社会正义。课程教授方法灵活多样,开展讲座、研讨会、专题报告、实验、野外考察、自主学习和论文等多样化的教学方式。 Curriculum thought and Politics has a great impact on the construction of knowledge system,the cultivation of innovation ability and the improvement of comprehensive quality to postgraduate students.Based on the ranking of world university geography majors from 2020 QS World University Rankings and Shanghai Soft Science Education Information Consulting Company,11 leading western universities were selected as the research samples to analyze the characteristics of master's degree training in geography from the curriculum system and curriculum content.The results indicate that the curriculum of master's degree programs in geography in11leading western universities focuses on multidisciplinary cross-fertilization,balances scientism and pragmatism,and emphasizes humanism and concern for social justice.The curriculum is taught in a flexible and varied way,with diverse teaching methods such as lectures,seminars,presentations,experiments,field trips,independent study,and dissertations.
