摘要
数字化转型对提升企业核心竞争力和构筑国家竞争新优势具有重要意义。文章基于2020年中国私营企业调查数据,创新性地从企业主评价角度测度了企业数字化转型水平,实证检验了企业数字化转型对劳动生产率的影响效应及作用机制,并考察了营商环境特征、税费支持力度和企业规模特征的不同情境下数字化转型效应的异质性。研究发现,数字化转型显著提高了企业劳动生产率,这一结论在经过工具变量、替换衡量方式等检验后稳健成立。异质性检验发现,优化营商环境和加大税费支持力度均有利于强化数字化转型对劳动生产率的正向效应;大中型企业数字化转型对劳动生产率的促进效应更为显著。机制检验表明,创新能力提升效应和人力资本升级效应是企业数字化转型赋能劳动生产率的重要渠道。结论不仅丰富了数字化经济效应的研究领域,也为推动数字化转型和赋能民营企业高质量发展提供了实证依据。
Digital transformation is of great significance in enhancing the core competitiveness of enter-prises and fostering new national competitive strengths.Based on the data from Chinese Private En-terprises Survey in 2020,this paper innovatively measures the level of enterprise digital transforma-tion from the perspective of business owner evaluation,and empirically explores the impact and mech-anism of enterprise digital transformation on labor productivity.The paper also examines the hetero-geneity of the effect of digital transformation in different contexts of business environment characteris-tics,tax and fee support,and enterprise size characteristics.The study finds that digital transforma-tion significantly improves labor productivity of enterprises,and this conclusion remains robust after testing with instrumental variables and replacement measures.The heterogeneity test reveals that op-timizing the business environment and increasing tax and fee support are both conducive to strengthe-ning the positive effect of digital transformation on labor productivity.The positive effect of digital transformation on labor productivity is more significant in large and medium-sized enterprises.The mechanism test shows that the innovation ability enhancement effect and human capital upgrading effect are important channels through which enterprise digital transformation empowers labor produc-tivity.The conclusion not only enriches the research field of digital economy effect,but also provides empirical evidence for promoting digital transformation and empowering the high-quality development of private enterprises.
