Study on Combustion Characteristics of Ammonia/Diesel Dual Fuel Engine

摘要 为了研究船舶双燃料发动机燃烧特性,使用发动机缸内Converge仿真分析软件对缸内直喷柴油引燃氨燃料发动机进行燃烧喷射混合和着火过程模拟,建立氨/柴油发动机燃烧室模型。分别在50%负荷和100%负荷条件下,通过分别增加缸内压缩比和进气道压力,系统分析了氨替代率对氨/柴油双燃料燃烧特性的影响。结果表明:在50%负荷和100%负荷条件下,随着氨替代率的增加,缸内压力与燃烧放热率出现先增后减的趋势;氨替代率为70%时达到缸内压力和燃烧放热率的最高值,接近纯柴油燃烧的44.9%,且100%负荷下燃烧效率与指示热效率均高于50%负荷;随着缸内压缩比的增大,不论100%负荷还是50%负荷下,氨替代率为90%时达到缸内压力和燃烧放热率的最高值,充分说明增大压缩比有利于提高燃烧放热率和指示热效率。 To study the combustion characteristics of marine dual-fuel engine,the fuel injection/mixing and ignition processes of the ammonia-fueled engine ignited by in-cylinder direct-injection diesel was simulated using the Converge computational fluid dynamics software,and a combustion chamber model for the ammonia/diesel engine was subsequently established.The effect of ammonia substitution rate on combustion characteristics of the ammonia/diesel dual-fuel engine was systematically analysed by increasing the in-cylinder compression ratio and inlet pressure at 50%and 100%loads.The results show that the in-cylinder pressure and combustion heat release rate show a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of ammonia substitution rate at 50%and 100%loads;in-cylinder pressure and combustion exthermic rate reach their peak values when ammonia energy replacement energy replacement rate of 90%,approaching 44.9%of pure diesel combustion performance.Furthermore,the combustion efficiency and the indicated thermal efficiency of combustion chamber at 100%load are higher than those at 50%load.With the increasing compression ratio in the cylinder,the in-cylinder pressure and combustion exthermic rate reach their peak values at ammonia energy replacement rate of 90%under 100%and 50%load conditions,which fully indicates that increasing the compression ratio is beneficial to improving the combustion heat release rate and the indicated thermal efficiency.
