国内外语学习者情绪与外语学业成绩关系研究综述

A Review of the Relationship Between Language Learners’Emotions and Foreign Language Achievement in China

摘要 以国内19种外语类核心期刊中的54篇相关文献为研究对象,基于文献分析法和内容分析法,从总体态势、理论框架、研究对象、研究方法及研究主题五个方面,梳理近40年国内外语学习者情绪与外语学业成绩关系研究的现状与发展。研究发现,该领域经历了“起步—波动—高速发展”三个阶段,多种理论视角的引入为研究提供了坚实的理论支撑,以较大样本量的截面式量化或混合实证研究为主流,研究内容从情绪与外语学业成绩的相关性逐步拓展到情绪与个体及社会因素之间的复杂交互作用。未来应深化情绪类型研究,进一步揭示情绪与外语学业成绩之间的复杂关系,加强外语学习者情绪调节与干预研究。 Bases on the analysis of 54 researches published in 19 leading foreign language journals in China,this paper systematically reviews the research status and development on the relationship between Chinese foreign languages learners’emotions and language achievement over the past 40 years.By analyzing five key aspects such as general trend,theoretical frameworks,research subjects,research methods,and research themes,the study reveals the following:(1)the past years witnessed three stages in this field namely initiation,fluctuation,and rapid development;(2)various theoretical perspectives have been introduced,providing solid theoretical support for the research;(3)adopting empirical methods with larger sample sizes in cross-sectional quantitative or mixed studies has become the mainstream approach;(4)research themes have expanded from examining the correlation between emotions and foreign language academic achievement to exploring the complex interactions between emotions of individuals as well as social factors.Future research should further the exploration of emotion types,uncover the intricate relationship between emotions and foreign language achievement,and strengthen the research on emotion regulation and intervention among foreign language learners.
