摘要
高分辨率雷达在探测低空、海面等复杂场景时,杂波幅度分布呈现显著拖尾特性,这一特性导致基于经典模型的检测门限估计存在严重偏差,制约雷达在低虚警率条件下的弱目标检测性能。鉴于现有分布模型在描述拖尾特性上存在局限性,本文深入分析了经典模型在拖尾描述上的不足,针对雷达杂波幅度分布拖尾特性导致经典分布模型对拖尾部分描述精度不足的问题,提出一种基于多项式拟合的雷达杂波幅度分布拖尾建模方法,采用三次多项式逼近雷达杂波幅度分布拖尾部分的概率密度函数,利用最小二乘法优化多项式系数。经多场景实测数据验证,多项式模型在拖尾区域能够达到更低的均方根误差,与实测数据拟合度优于其他模型。本文提出的多项式模型有效克服了传统分布模型在拖尾区域描述精度的不足,为雷达检测性能分析提供了高精度模型支撑。
When high-resolution radar detected complex scenarios such as low-altitude and sea surfaces,the clutter amplitude distribution exhibited significant heavy-tailed characteristics.This phenomenon caused severe deviation in detection threshold estimation based on classical models,and constrained the radar’s weak target detection performance under low false alarm rate conditions.Given the limitations of existing distribution models in describing heavy-tailed characteristics,this paper conducted an in-depth analysis of classical models’deficiencies in tail characterization.To address the insufficient description accuracy of classical distribution models in tail regions caused by radar clutter amplitude distribution characteristics,a polynomial fitting-based modeling method for radar clutter amplitude distribution tails is proposed.The method employed cubic polynomials to approximate the probability density function of the radar clutter amplitude distribution in tail regions,with polynomial coefficients optimized using the least squares method.Validation through multi-scenario measured data demonstrated that the polynomial model achieved lower root mean square error in tail regions and demonstrated superior goodness-of-fit with measured data compared to other models.The proposed polynomial model effectively overcomes the inadequate description precision of traditional distribution models in tail regions,providing high-precision model support for radar detection performance analysis.
