班级非独生子女比例与学生心理健康——基于中国教育追踪调查(CEPS)的实证研究

摘要 在全面“三孩”时代下,育龄人群的生育潜能或将进一步释放。然而,少有研究探讨学生拥有兄弟姐妹对班级同伴的溢出效应。基于中国教育追踪调查数据的随机分班样本,研究考察了班级非独生子女比例对学生心理健康的影响。结果发现:(1)班级非独生子女比例越高,学生心理健康水平越高。(2)班级非独生子女通过提升同伴交往能力、减轻父母期望压力的方式改善了学生的心理健康状况。(3)班级非独生子女的积极影响有助于抵消来自较差家庭氛围和较差学校环境的负面影响。为此,科学分配班级,发挥同伴积极作用,是提升青少年心理健康的重要途径。 In the era of universal“three-child”,the reproductive potential of childbearing may be further released.However,few studies have examined the spillover effects of siblings on peers.Based on a random class assignment setting of China Education Panel Survey,this paper examines the impact of the proportion of non-only child on individual mental health.The results show that:(1)The higher the proportion of non-only children in the class,the higher the students’mental health level.(2)Non-only children in class may improve students’mental health by promoting peer communication and alleviating parents’expectation pressure.(3)The positive effect of non-only children helps offset the negative effect from family atmosphere and school environment.This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the peer effect of non-only children,and also provides new implications for school class allocation and adolescent mental health issues.
