低剂量电离辐射对精子发生的损伤机制及防护研究进展

Advances in research on mechanisms underlying damage of low⁃dose ionizing radiation to spermatogenesis and relevant protective measures

摘要 电离辐射不仅发生在核与辐射恐怖袭击或核事故中,也广泛存在于医疗和日常生活中。近年来,低剂量电离辐射对男性生殖系统的潜在生殖毒性效应引发公共卫生关注,尤其睾丸作为电离辐射高敏靶器官,其引发的精子发生障碍与男性不育症关联机制亟待阐明。本文围绕低剂量电离辐射对精子生成的潜在损伤效应,分析包括氧化应激、细胞凋亡和DNA损伤修复等在内的可能机制。此外,对近年来国内外有关辐射引起生殖系统损伤的防护策略进行总结,旨在为今后低剂量辐射对精子发生的损伤效应及其防护提供参考。 Ionizing radiation occurs not only during nuclear and radiological terrorist attacks or nuclear accidents but also in medical applications and daily life.In recent years,the potential toxic effects of low⁃dose ionizing radiation on the male reproductive system have raised public health concerns.Most specifically,for the testis,a highly sensitive target organ to ionizing radiation,there is an urgent need to determine the mechanisms underlying the association between radiation⁃induced spermatogenic failure and male infertility.Focusing on the potential injurious effects of low⁃dose ionizing radiation on spermatogenesis,this review presents a summary and analysis of various underlying mechanisms including oxidative stress,apoptosis,and DNA damage repair and reviews recent domestic and international strategies for protecting against radiation⁃induced reproductive system damage in order to offer references for future research on the injurious effects of low⁃dose radiation on spermatogenesis and relevant protection.
