摘要
随着地理信息技术的不断发展,社会对地理信息专业人才的需求日益增长,凸现了地理信息系统课程在地理科学专业教育中的核心地位。但是,现行的教学内容与方法以及考核模式存在着滞后和单一化的问题,亟待革新。对此,以湖北文理学院地理科学专业为例,通过创新竞赛驱动、理论实践并重的赛教融合教学体系来变革GIS课程的教学内容、教学方法及考核方式。事实证明,采用赛教融合模式后,学生参与GIS相关竞赛的数量和获奖人数分别增长了90%和70%;课程综合成绩和及格率分别提高了2.5%和35%;学生对GIS课程的满意度超过了90%。赛教融合教学模式可为促进高等院校地理信息系统课程教学变革提供有益的借鉴和参考。
With the rapid development of geographical information technology,there is an increasing demand for talents majoring in geographical information,which highlights the central position of GIS in geography education.However,the teaching content,methods,and assessment models still face issues of stagnation and a lack of diversity,to be innovated in future.Taking the geoscience major at Hubei University of Arts and Science as an example,it attaches more importance to competition and integration of theory&practice to solve present problems in the teaching of GIS courses.The results show that,by this means,the number of students participating in competitions and the prizewinners respectively increased by 90%and 70%;the overall performance and pass rate respectively increased by 2.5%and 35%;students’satisfaction with the GIS course exceeded 90%.
