This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the founding of the United Nations.In May,Canada commemorated the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.China and Canada fought alongside each other in the Asian theatre in WWII.This year also marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and restoration of Taiwan from Japanese occupation.
