高校主办英文科技期刊创办及运营的关键举措——以Collagen and Leather的实践经验为例

Key Strategies for Establishment and Operation of English Scientific and Technological Journals Hosted by Universities——Taking Practical Experience of Collagen and Leather as an example

摘要 高校具有丰富的学术资源,在主办高水平英文科技期刊方面具有得天独厚的优势,然而其在实际运营过程中却在一定程度上显示出了人力分配不足、岗位分工不细、期刊集群发展尚浅等问题。如何因地制宜利用高校优势资源创办并维持英文科技期刊的高质量发展值得探究与实践。本文以四川大学主办的中国科技期刊影响力提升计划高起点新刊Collagen and Leather的实践经验为例,提出高校主办英文科技期刊应围绕优势学科确立期刊主题、吸纳教职工/学生投入期刊建设、利用学校平台共建期刊发展集群等具有高度可借鉴性的实践措施,期望能为高校主办英文科技期刊的创办及运营提供有力参考。 Universities are rich in academic resources and have unique advantages in hosting high-level English scientific and technological journals.However,in the actual operation process,problems such as insufficient manpower allocation,unclear work division,and limited development of journal clusters have been shown to some extent.How to make use of the advantageous resources of universities to establish and maintain the high-quality development of English scientific and technological journals is worthy of exploration and practice.Taking the practical experience of Collagen and Leather,a new journal hosted by Sichuan University as an example,this paper proposes that when universities host English scientific and technological journals,they should establish journal themes around dominant disciplines,attract faculty members and students to participate in journal construction,and utilize the school platform to jointly build journal development clusters,which are expected to provide a reference for the establishment and operation of English scientific and technological journals hosted by universities.
