摘要
研究以严复《天演论》中“信、达、雅”的翻译标准及相关翻译技巧为理论基础,结合水利工程英语专业术语多、逻辑严谨、注重技术规范等特点,深入探究其在水利工程英语翻译中的应用,旨在提升水利工程英语翻译的质量,促进水利工程领域的国际交流与技术传播。
Based on the translation standards of"faithfulness,clarity,and elegance"in Yan Fu's"Evolution and Ethics"and the re-lated translation techniques,combined with the characteristics of engineering water conservancy English such as numerous terms,rigorous logic,and emphasis on technical norms,this paper deeply explores the application of these in the English translation of engineering water conservancy,aiming to improve the quality of English translation in engineering water conservancy and promoting international exchanges and technology dissemination in the field of engineering water conservancy.
