摘要
生物医学工程学科涵盖范围广泛,综合性强,是一门面向人类生命健康的前沿性、战略性科技创新学科。近年来,虽然中国生物医学工程学科在众多关键领域取得了重要进展,但在高层次人才培养、原始创新等领域,与国际顶尖水平相比,仍存在一定的差距,国际影响力与竞争力有待进一步提升。为突破这一瓶颈,本研究以培养学生的国际创新能力为核心目标,以“与世界一流高校建立中外合作办学项目”为重要抓手,成功构建了生物医学工程高层次创新人才培养的新模式。通过合作办学,积极引进高质量的国际教育资源,增加国际教育与科研合作的广度与深度。自2020年起,电子科技大学与加拿大麦吉尔大学联合举办的生物医学工程-神经科学双硕士人才培养合作办学项目正式落地实施。本研究聚焦于该项目前三届学生的培养现状与实践经验,深入探讨并分享国际化人才培养新模式的创新思路与有益经验,旨在为中国生物医学工程学科的国际化发展提供有益的参考与借鉴。
The discipline of Biomedical Engineering is characterized by its broad scope and strong comprehensiveness.It is a cutting-edge and strategic discipline of scientific and technological innovation and is oriented towards the health and well-being of the people.In recent years,Chinese Biomedical Engineering discipline has made significant progress in many key areas.However,compared with the world’s top level,there are still certain gaps in the cultivation of high-level talents and original innovation,and its international influence and competitiveness need to be further enhanced.To break through this bottleneck,this research takes the cultivation of students’international innovation capabilities as the core goal and the establishment of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs with world-class universities as an important means,successfully creating a new mode for cultivating high-level innovative talents in Biomedical Engineering.Through cooperative education,high-quality international educational resources are actively introduced,and the breadth and depth of international educational and scientific research cooperation are expanded.Since 2020,the joint Biomedical Engineering-Neuroscience dual master’s program between the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and McGill University has been officially launched and implemented.This paper focuses on the implementation status and practical experience of the first three cohorts of students in this program,deeply explores and shares the innovative ideas and beneficial experiences of the new international talent cultivation model,and aims to provide useful references and insights for the international development of Chinese Biomedical Engineering discipline.
