With the advent of the digital age and the rapid development of new media technology,the classification,retrieval,and management of information in street offices are facing new opportunities and challenges.On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of the new media environment,this article deeply explores the strategies and development trends of street offices in data classification and cataloging,digital resource construction,retrieval technology application,and information service innovation under the background of new media.By strengthening indexing standards,innovating classification models,expanding digital resources,optimizing retrieval tools,and improving personalized service levels,the aim is to fully leverage the technological advantages of new media,transform traditional data management models,provide users with more efficient,accurate,and convenient ways to obtain information,and better serve community management and livelihood security.
