摘要
“道德人”是自传统社会以来大学教师的重要身份标识,当代大学教师道德失范现象频发,“道德人”身份逐渐式微,造成大学教师多元身份的行为越矩,亵渎着大学教师道德形象,破坏着社会公平公正,影响着现代大学职能的实现。新时代背景下,重塑“道德人”身份是加强小康社会精神文明建设、传承发展大学教师道德形象以及履行高校教师立德树人职责的需要。大学教师“道德人”身份重塑可从内外两个维度构建。在外部方面,政府提出普遍遵循的职业道德规范,社会维护大学教师道德形象,学校具体落实行为准则要求;内部方面,大学教师逐步从道德楷模向道德自我、道德完人的境界升格进化。以此加强大学教师道德建设,提高大学教师师德修养,对打造一批高质量和高素质的大学教师队伍具有重要意义。
The concept of a"moral identity"has long been considered a core attribute of university teachers in traditional society.However,in recent years,incidents of moral misconduct among university teachers have become increasingly prevalent,leading to a decline in their perceived moral standing.This trend has caused confusion due to conflicting roles,undermined the moral image of university teachers,harmed social fairness and justice,and negatively impacted the effective functioning of modern universities.In the context of the new era,reshaping the"moral identity"is essential for promoting the development of spiritual and ethical values within a moderately prosperous society,preserving and advancing the moral image of university teachers,and fulfilling their duty to cultivate virtue through education.This process involves both external and internal efforts.Externally,the government should establish a widely accepted professional code of ethics,society should uphold high moral expectations,and universities must implement effective policies and codes of conduct.Internally,university teachers should gradually evolve from serving merely as moral exemplars to cultivating deeper moral self-awareness and ultimately striving toward the ideal of moral integrity.Such efforts to enhance the moral development of university teachers and improve their professional ethics are of great significance in building a high-quality and morally grounded teaching workforce.
