摘要
随着“一带一路”倡议的持续推进及经济高质量发展思想的践行,专门用途英语、专业英语、公共英语翻译策略的优化与调整已经成为翻译事业发展的新重点。农业科技英语作为专门用途英语与专业英语的融合体,其翻译策略也应随着时代的发展进行优化和调整,以此满足我国农产品对外贸易事业发展、农业科技交流以及农业教育事业建设的需求。而深入分析农业科技英语翻译的特点,聚焦农业科技英语翻译的挑战,可以提升农业科技英语翻译的质量。从专业术语库、翻译方法、翻译能力及文化适应性等维度出发,提出了科学有效的农业科技英语翻译策略。
With the continuous promotion of the"the Belt and Road"initiative and the practice of high-quality economic development strategy,the optimization and adjustment of translation strategies for English for specific purposes,professional English and public English have become the new focus of translation development.As a fusion of specialized English and professional English,the translation strategy of agricultural technology English should also be optimized and adjusted with the development of the times,in order to meet the needs of China's agricultural product foreign trade,agricultural technology exchange,and agricultural education construction.An in-depth analysis of the characteristics of agricultural science and technology English translation,focusing on the challenges of agricultural science and technology English translation,can improve the quality of agricultural science and technology English translation.This article proposes scientific and effective strategies for translating scientific and technological English from the dimensions of professional terminology library,translation methods,translation ability,and cultural adaptability.
