摘要
随着我国数字化和信息化的迅速发展更迭,数字技术尤其是互联网在人们的日常生活中扮演着越来越重要的角色,其广泛应用深刻改变了人们的生产生活方式。但当数字化技术迅猛发展与人口老龄化程度日益加深互相交叠,老龄化社会遭遇到数字时代的挑战,由此产生的老年人数字鸿沟问题凸显。在此背景下,如何提升老年人的健康状况至关重要。数字技术的发展为此提供了潜在的方案。基于2021年中国综合社会调查数据(CGSS),运用有序Logistic回归模型分析数字鸿沟对老年人健康的影响,并探索其异质性和作用机制。研究稳健地发现:数字鸿沟会显著影响老年人的健康状况,数字鸿沟越大,老年人的健康状况越差。异质性分析表明,与低龄、女性、农村、个人收入水平高和受教育程度高的老年人相比,数字鸿沟对中高龄、男性、城市、个人收入水平低和受教育程度低的老年人的自评健康的负面影响更大。机制分析显示,数字鸿沟会通过影响社交频率和学习频率进而影响老年人健康。据此,数字鸿沟导致了老年人信息获取的不平等,阻碍了老年人社会交往。
With the rapid development and iteration of digitization and informatization in China,digital technology,especially the internet,is playing an increasingly important role in people's daily lives,pro-foundly changing their production and lifestyle.However,as the rapid development of digital technology coincides with the deepening of population aging,aging society faces challenges from the digital era,and the issue of digital divide among the elderly is particularly prominent.Against this background,it is crucial to improve the health of the elderly.The development of digital technology provides potential solutions for this.Based on the 2021 China General Social Survey(CGSS)data,this study uses an ordered logistic re-gression model to analyze the impact of the digital divide on the health of the elderly and explore its het-erogeneity and mechanisms.The robust findings of the study reveal that the digital divide significantly af-fects the health status of the elderly,with greater digital divide leading to worse health conditions among the elderly.Heterogeneity analysis shows that compared with younger age groups,females,rural residents,individuals with higher personal income levels,and higher educational attainment,the negative impact of the digital divide on self-rated health is more significant for older age groups,males,urban residents,indi-viduals with lower personal income levels,and lower educational attainment among the elderly.Mecha-nism analysis indicates that the digital divide affects the health of the elderly by influencing social interac-tion frequency and learning frequency.Accordingly,the digital divide results in unequal access to informa-tion for the elderly and hinders their social interaction.
