摘要
国际科研合作是全球南方在世界学术体系中得以浮现的重要路径。本文基于InCites数据库,对全球南方21个国家1983~2023年的国际合作论文开展文献计量研究。研究发现,全球南方与全球北方之间科研体量的鸿沟依旧存在,且全球南方本土自主研究仍相对不足;全球南方国际合作论文的影响力在整体提高,但全球南方内部不同区域、国家之间国际合作论文的影响力存在一定的分化趋势;中国与其他全球南方国家的科研合作强度、广度、效度等均有所提升,已成为全球南方知识生产的主要推动者之一。基于研究发现,本文提出未来全球南方国际科研合作的三重面向,即看见作为“实体”的全球南方、理解作为“视角”的全球南方、共建作为“方法”的全球南方,以期进一步提升中国在全球南方国际科研合作中的参与水平。
International scientific research collaboration is a crucial pathway for the Global South to emerge within the world academic system.This article conducts a bibliometric analysis of international collaborative papers from 21 countries in the Global South,drawing on data from the InCites database for the period 1983-2023.The study finds that the gap in research output between the Global South and the Global North persists,and there remains a relative insufficiency of indigenous research in the Global South.While the impact of international collaborative papers from the Global South is generally improving,there are noticeable trends of impact differentiation among different regions and countries within the Global South.Additionally,the intensity,breadth,and effectiveness of scientific research collaboration between China and many other countries in the Global South have all increased,positioning China as one of the main drivers of knowledge production in the Global South.Based on these findings,in order to further improve China's participation in international scientific research cooperation in the Global South,this article proposes three dimensions for future international scientific research collaboration in the Global South:recognizing the Global South as a“entity”,understanding it as a“perspective”,and co-building it as a“method”.
