China and Thailand are connected by mountains and rivers.Both countries enjoy cultural proximity and a deep and enduring friendship rooted in mutual understanding.As close partners who stand by each other through thick and thin,the two countries have seen cooperation reach new heights under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).Bilateral ties have made significant strides across various sectors,with data highlighting increasingly close collaboration in trade,investment,tourism,and cultural exchange.China has remained Thailand’s largest trading partner for 12 consecutive years and is also Thailand’s biggest export market for agricultural products as well as its top source of foreign direct investment(FDI).Meanwhile,Thailand continues to be one of the most popular travel destinations for Chinese tourists.
