In 2024,the global natural gas market continues to maintain a loose supply-demand balance,with international gas prices experiencing further declines and ongoing profound adjustments in gas trade landscape.Against the backdrop of heightened energy security concerns among major economies,natural gas is increasingly recognized as a critical"transition fuel"during the global energy transition.China has witnessed accelerated growth in natural gas consumption,a gradual easing of supply-demand tensions,and ongoing optimization of utilization patterns.The strategic role of natural gas as both a"bridge fuel"for green energy transition and a"stabilizer"for the stable operation of China's emerging energy systems has become more defined.Looking ahead to 2025,global gas supply capacity is expected to reach new heights,with overall market conditions remaining accommodative.Special attention should be paid to the potential implications of the United States'expanding influence over international oil and gas markets.
