摘要
在所处的生态环境中,心灵应如何运作才能让生活变得美、善又合乎情理?文化进化论为理解儒家文化的代际传承与创新发展提供了新的思考视角,特别是儒家文化如何有效地把个体层面的心灵发展熔铸为集体智慧与文化阶梯。儒家文化从情感出发,以情感理性作为文化理想建构的基本逻辑,通过内外合德止于至善的目标追求,规约文化理想的价值体系演变。通过情义规则保障文化理想的动态达成与跨时间的一致性,持续维持价值与情境的最优适宜性;通过情感的人际跃迁,引导个体心灵实现社会运作,创造最大化的共享心智与命运共同体。本文结合进化心理研究的新近证据,阐明儒家文化理想主张的心灵发育的文化进化优势与机制,实现心灵发育的开放性、创造性、完整性与意义体验,以及心灵与世界的协同。从文化累积进化的视角来看,儒家文化理想的建构方式与基本逻辑,及其代际传承的心灵发育机制具有跨时间的普遍性和先进性,对人类心灵的累积发育完善具有积极作用。
How should the mind operate within its ecological environment to make life beautiful,virtuous,and reasonable?Cultural evolution provides a new perspective for understanding the intergenerational transmission and innovative development of Confucian culture,especially how Confucian culture effectively integrates individual-level mental development into collective wisdom and cultural hierarchy.Confucian culture,starting from emotion and using emotional rationality as the basic logic for constructing cultural ideals,regulates the evolution of the value system of cultural ideals through the pursuit of internal and external virtues that lead to the highest values.It ensures the dynamic achievement and temporal consistency of cultural ideals through emotional and ethical rules,maintaining optimal adaptability between values and contexts.Through the interpersonal transmission of emotion,it guides individual minds to achieve social functioning,creating a maximized shared mind and a community of shared destiny.Drawing on recent evidence from evolutionary psychology,this paper elucidates the cultural evolutionary advantages and mechanisms of the Confucian cultural ideal in the development of the mind,achieving openness,creativity,integrity,and meaningful experience in mental development,as well as the synergy between the mind and the world.From the perspective of cumulative cultural evolution,the construction methods and basic logic of Confucian cultural ideals,along with their intergenerational mechanisms of the development of the mind,exhibit trans-temporal universality and advancement.They play a positive role in the cumulative development and perfection of human minds and optimize the direction of human civilization.
