摘要
学科平台肩负着高校汇聚高层次人才、提高办学质量、开展学术交流、提升社会认知的使命,是地方高校开展学科建设的重要载体,也是提升学科建设水平的重要抓手。然而,当前地方高校的学科平台建设存在结构布局不合理、建设数量不足且规模较小等问题,这些问题制约了地方高校学科建设的水平与质量。该文概述了地方高校在高水平学科平台申建中存在的“立地”容易、“顶天”难,重申报、轻建设等问题,结合实际情况提出了解决路径:一是明确学科发展规划,分层推进学科平台建设;二是强化内涵建设,提升学科平台建设质量。这些举措有力地支撑了地方高校的学科建设和“双一流”创建工作。
[Objective]Discipline platforms serve as fundamental infrastructure for universities,providing critical venues,facilities,equipment,and technical support necessary for scientific research,talent development,and social services.As pivotal components of academic discipline development,these platforms face significant challenges in local universities,including suboptimal structural organization,inadequate quantity,and limited scale of construction.These limitations substantially constrain the advancement and quality of disciplinary development in local institutions.To address these issues,this study conducts a comprehensive analysis of discipline platform construction in local universities.The research aims to identify systemic solutions to existing challenges,and propose strategic directions and practical approaches to support local institutions in their“Double First-Class”initiative.This investigation holds substantial importance for enhancing disciplinary development and elevating academic standards in regional higher education institutions.[Methods]This paper studies the current situation of discipline platform construction in local universities,so as to clarify the problems existing in local universities when applying for and constructing high-level discipline platforms,such as it is easy to be“grounded”but difficult to be"top-level",and attaching more importance to application than construction,etc.Taking the process of discipline platform construction in Zhengzhou University of Light Industry to promote high-level discipline construction as an example,this paper proposes corresponding paths:clarify the discipline development plan,and promote the discipline platform construction in a hierarchical manner according to the development orientations of different disciplines;strengthen the connotation construction of discipline platforms and improve the construction quality of discipline platforms.[Results]The research results show that local universities should carefully condense discipline directions and tap discipline potential based on their own development orientations,advantages and characteristics,and formulate discipline platform construction and development plans in a forward-looking manner.In terms of top-level design,according to their respective discipline historical deposits,discipline advantages and professional characteristics,they should orderly promote the application and construction plans of peak discipline,plateau discipline and highland discipline platforms,and improve the supporting effect of discipline platforms on discipline construction.By clarifying the research fields of discipline platforms,homogeneous construction can be avoided;with the help of information empowerment,disordered and silent discipline platform data can be incorporated into orderly and explicit management,making discipline teachers more clear about the base number of carrying out scientific research and social services and more definite about the service boundaries.[Conclusions]Since discipline platform construction has a promoting effect on discipline construction in universities,local universities should strive to overcome the difficulties and bottlenecks faced in discipline platform construction.According to the connotations and research fields of the disciplines on which discipline platforms rely,they should formulate discipline platform development plans and strategic layouts in a forward-looking manner,and promote the integrated construction of disciplines and platforms in a coordinated manner.Discipline platform construction should not only reach a high level“top-level”,but also meet the actual needs“grounded”;it should not only attach importance to quantity,but also pay attention to quality,and improve the marginal effect of discipline platforms serving disciplines through information empowerment.
