二语学术写作初学者文献引用特征研究

A Study on the Development Path of Literature Citation Ability for Beginners in Academic Writing of Second Language

摘要 文献引用是学术写作最重要的特征之一。该文通过对10篇英语专业本硕学位论文进行对比分析,在“引用维度框架”理论内历时性地探讨二语学术写作初学者的文献引用特征,进而总结其引用能力发展路径。基于量化分析得出以下结论:(1)二语学术写作初学者倾向于表达“支持”立场,多采用“融合”的文本融合方式及“动词支配融入式”的被引作者融入类型。(2)随着学历的提高,引用频次和引用密度整体上都呈现出显著增长的趋势;“中立”立场、“直接引用”的文本融合方式的引用密度显著增长;“融入式”的被引作者融入类型引用密度显著减少,但“作者名称融入式”引用密度呈现增长趋势。 Literature citation is one of the most important features in academic writing.By comparing and analyzing ten undergraduate and postgraduate degree theses in English,this diachronic study explores the citation features and summarizes the development path of citation skills for second language academic writers within the"Citation Dimension Framework"theory.Based on quantitative analysis,the following conclusions are drawn.(1)Second language academic writers tend to express a"supporting"stance,often using the"fusion"method of text integration and the"verb-controlled incorporation"type of cited author integration.(2)As educational level increases,both citation frequency and density show a significant upward trend overall;the citation density of"neutral"stances and"direct quotation"text integration methods increases significantly;the citation density of the"incorporation"type of cited authors decreases significantly but shows an increasing trend in the"author name incorporation"type.
