To achieve the translation standards of"faithfulness, expressiveness and elegance"and ensure the faithful transmission of the original text style, through discussing about the application of interpretation techniques in literary translation, has constituted an important issue in literary translation studies. In the translation of《Norwegian Woods》,thetranslator mainly adoptstheJapanesetransliteration method when dealing with proper nouns, such as personal names and geographic names. In view of the fact that the work is a Japanese literary work translated from Chinese to Tibetan, the translator uses the principle of"name after the originating person"for other regional nouns in order to preserve the exotic characteristics of the original as much as possible, and retains their original pronunciation, which becomes a prominent feature of the translation. In addition,in the choice of domesticated literal translation and foreignized free translation, translators tend to use former one to restore the original content to the greatest extent. At the same time, when dealing with the translation of proverbs and rhetoric, the translator appropriately adopts foreignized free translation, and uses the language easily accepted by the readers to reproduce the original content,so that the translation is easy to be understood without losing its literary value.
