摘要
人线粒体转录终止因子(MTERFs)家族成员在调控线粒体功能中发挥重要作用,通过控制线粒体DNA(mtDNA)复制、转录和翻译,甚至参与线粒体核糖体亚基组装和蛋白质合成,影响线粒体代谢和细胞能量产生。先前研究表明,MTERF家族蛋白不仅参与了正常细胞的生理功能,还广泛参与人类恶性肿瘤的发生发展,与肿瘤细胞的增殖、迁移和侵袭等生物学行为有关,对肿瘤患者的预后评估和治疗具有重要意义。文章主要从MTERF家族各成员在肿瘤中的功能和作用机制方面进行综述。
Members of the human mitochondrial transcription termination factors(MTERFs)family play an important role in the regulation of mitochondrial function,affecting mitochondrial metabolism and cell energy production by controlling mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)replication,transcription and translation,and even participating in mitochondrial ribosome subunit assembly and protein synthesis.Previous studies have shown that MTERF family proteins not only participate in the physiological function of normal cells,but also widely participate in the occurrence and development of human malignant tumors,and are related to the biological behaviors of tumor cell proliferation,migration and invasion,which is of great significance for the prognosis assessment and treatment of tumor patients.This article mainly reviews the function and mechanism of MTERF family members in tumor.
