摘要
【目的】为探究南岭山脉对郴州地区近地面气象场模拟的影响。【方法】使用WRF(Weather Research and Forecasting)模式对郴州地区2023年10月18—20日的1次降水天气过程进行了模拟,通过不同高度及精度的地形敏感性试验对比分析。【结果】南岭山脉的特殊地形是导致郴州地区2 m温度和2 m相对湿度空间分布差异的直接原因之一;中低层西南暖湿气流受到南岭山脉特殊地形的阻挡抬升、绕行辐合和狭管效应影响,产生了明显有利于对流发展和维持的流场结构,使降雨更容易在此处发展,升高或降低地形均会破坏这种特征结构,使该处降雨减弱和雨带位置改变;使用更高分辨率的地形数据可以更好地代表郴州地区真实的地形特征,从而提高模式模拟的准确率。【结论】南岭地形和郴州地区气象场的变化关系密切,南岭复杂地形也是造成郴州独特气候特征的主要原因之一。
To understand the impact of Nanling Mountain Range on numerical weather prediction,the WRF(Weather Research and Forecasting)model is used to simulate one precipitation event that occurred in Chenzhou from October 18 to 20,2023.The comparison between default and changed(different altitudes and resolutions)terrain data is investigated through numerical sensitivity tests to analyze the impact on near-surface meteorological field simulations.The results show that the special terrain of Nanling Mountain Range is one of the direct causes for the spatial distribution differences in 2 m temperature and 2 m relative humidity in Chenzhou.The mid-and low-level southwest warm and humid airflow is influenced by the blocking and lifting effect,the convergence due to terrain deflection,and the channeling effect of the special terrain of the Nanling Mountain Range.This creates a flow field structure that is favorable for the development and maintenance of convection,facilitating the occurrence of rainfall in this region.Any alteration in the numerical sensitivity tests of terrain,either raising or lowering it,would disrupt this characteristic structure and lead to weakened rainfall and a shift in the position of the rain band.Using higher resolution terrain data can better represent the true terrain characteristics of the Chenzhou,thereby improving the accuracy of model simulation.In a word,the terrain of the Nanling Mountain Range and the changes in the weather field in Chenzhou are closely related.The complex terrain of Nanling is also one of the main reasons for the unique climate features of Chenzhou.
