It is with great joy and passion that I introduce the inaugural volume of Surface Science and Technology,an international peer-reviewed and open access journal managed by China Southern Industrial Group Co.,Ltd.,sponsored by Southwest Institute of Technology and Engineering and published by Springer Nature.We are committed to publishing high-quality review articles,original research papers and letters on the areas of materials,surface and interface,with the aim of demonstrating scientific and technological innovations on science,technology and engineering in surface and interface science and promoting the exchange of progress as well as the transformation of innovations and application in engineering.
