摘要
牙周病与心血管疾病之间的关联性近年来受到了广泛关注。牙周感染可能通过增加全身性炎症水平,促进动脉粥样硬化的发展,并对心脏功能产生不利影响。尽管已有大量流行病学证据支持两者间的联系,但关于其因果关系的确切性质仍存在争议。本文系统性地概述了牙周病与心血管疾病相关性的研究进展,强调了两者之间可能存在的联系及其背后的生物学机制。未来的研究需要进一步探索潜在的分子机制,包括但不限于微生物组的作用、免疫应答的变化以及遗传易感性的差异。同时,设计良好的随机对照试验对于验证牙周治疗能否有效减少心血管事件的发生至关重要。
The association between periodontal disease and cardiovascular disease has received widespread attention in recent years.Periodontal infection may contribute to the development of atherosclerosis and adversely affect cardiac function by increasing the level of systemic inflammation.Despite abundant epidemiological evidence supporting this association,there is still controversy over the exact nature of their causal relationship.This article systematically summarizes the research progress on the correlation between periodontal disease and cardiovascular disease,emphasizing the possible connections between the two and their underlying biological mechanisms.Future studies are needed to further explore potential molecular mechanisms,including but not limited to the role of the microbiome,changes in immune response,and differences in genetic susceptibility.Meanwhile,well-designed randomized controlled trials are crucial for verifying whether periodontal therapy can effectively reduce the occurrence of cardiovascular events.
