习近平法治思想提出了一系列原创性的新理念新思想新论断,形成了逻辑严密、科学系统、有机统一的刑事司法理论体系,为推进中国式刑事司法现代化、检察工作现代化提供了科学的理论指导、行动指南和根本遵循。习近平法治思想深刻阐明了刑事司法的重大意义,指出“公正司法是维护社会公平正义的最后一道防线”,强调“坚守公正司法底线”;明确指出了刑事司法的根本目标是“努力让人民群众在每一个司法案件中感受到公平正义”,强调“严格公正司法”“坚持司法为民”;鲜明提出了刑事司法的根本目的是“依法保障人民权益”,强调“加强人权司法保障”;系统回答了刑事司法的基本要求是“努力提升执法司法的质量、效率、公信力”,强调要“更好把社会主义法治优势转化为国家治理效能”。
Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law contains profound theoretical insights on criminal justice.It primarily includes the following aspects:(1)deeply explaining the significant importance of criminal justice,proposing that“fair justice is the last line of defense for maintaining social fairness and justice”,and emphasizing the need to“adhere to the bottom line of fair justice”;(2)deeply clarifying the fundamental goal of criminal justice,suggesting that“efforts should be made to ensure that the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case”,and emphasizing“strict and fair justice”and“upholding justice for the people”;(3)deeply explaining the fundamental purpose of criminal justice,proposing to“protect the rights and interests of the people according to the law”,and emphasizing the need to“strengthen judicial protection of human rights”;(4)deeply elaborating on the basic requirements of criminal justice,suggesting“efforts to improve the quality,efficiency,and credibility of law enforcement and justice”,and emphasizing the importance of“better transforming the advantages of socialist rule of law into governance effectiveness”.The criminal justice theory embedded in Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law is logically rigorous,rich in content,and scientifically systematic.It serves as the fundamental guideline for modernizing China's criminal justice and procuratorial work.
