摘要
文章在阐述了MRTG监控软件的工作原理基础上,提出了一种分析MRTG生成的日志文件,使用JavaApplet技术实现网络性能降低或网络故障发生自动报警的简单、方便、直观管理大型校园网络系统的解决方案。该方案与现有的基于大型网管软件的网络性能监控相比,它具有原理简单、使用方便、管理代价低、监控对象范围广泛、自动发声报警故障的优点。
This paper introduces the pri nc iple of MRTG,gives a method by analyzing MRTG log file and implementing autoala rm by Java Applet technique at the moment of Network performance decreasing or Network failure arising.Com-paring with the large-scale network management s oftware,this method is very active and simple and cheap.It can be viewed by an yone,anytime ,anywhere at the same time autoalarm sound can be heard if the computer is equipped the sound device.
