在传统 CBR MPEG- 2位率控制模型中存在两个局限性 :一是在分配目标位数据量时没有充分考虑图像的相对复杂度 ;二是没有能够对场景转换进行很好处理 .针对以上两点不足进行了改进 :提出了已编码帧图像平均复杂度的计算方法 ,通过比较当前帧图像复杂度与所有已编码帧图像平均复杂度 ,合理调整当前帧目标位数据量 ;提出了场景转换帧检测算法 ,动态调整场景转换帧目标位数据量 .实验结果表明 ,提出的位率控制算法优于
There are two limitations in the traditional CBR MPEG 2 rate control strategy. One is that the encoder does not take full account of the relative complexity of a frame in the target bit number allocation, and the other is that scene changes are not properly dealt with. An improved rate control strategy is proposed for solving these two deficiencies in this paper. First, average encoded pictures complexity computation algorithm is presented, and target bit number can be reasonably adjusted by comparing the complexity of current frame with the average. Second, a scene change detection algorithm is put forward, and the frame target bit number can be adjusted dynamically. The experimental results indicate that the improved rate control algorithm performs better than the TM5 rate control algorithm.
