摘要
清華簡《厚父》字形複雜、文辭古奥、内容豐富,是一篇失傳已久的書類文獻。文章在整理者釋文及前人研究的基礎上,認爲整理報告中“如丹之在朱”的“朱”應爲“桼”字,“丹”“桼”均爲顔料。簡文的“如丹之在桼”應與前面的“如玉之在石”呼應,即以“玉”在“石”中難以被發現,“丹”在“桼”下難以被顯現來比喻“民心”之難測。
The Houfu(《厚父》)in Tsinghua Bamboo Slips is a long-lost Shang Shu-style document with complex characters,archaic diction and rich content.On the basis of the document collators’interpretation and previous studies,the article holds that in the collation report,the character zhu(朱)in rudanzhizaizhu(如丹之在朱)should be the character qi(桼).Both dan(丹)and qi are pigments.The text rudanzhizaiqi(如丹之在桼)should correlate with ruyuzhizaishi(如玉之在石)in the preceding text,that is to say,jade is difficult to be found among rocks and cinnabar is difficult to manifest itself under lacquer,used as a simile of the difficulty in fathoming the“popular sentiments”.
