错误分析理论视域下学生译者在高校网站新闻翻译中的错误分析

Analysis of Student Translators'Errors in News Translation on University Portal Website from the Perspective of Error Analysis Theory

摘要 该研究基于语料库,采用Carl James的错误分析理论,对学生译者在高校网站新闻翻译中的错误分布进行了系统分析。研究发现,在微观层面,学生多存在语法错误,显著影响了译文的准确性与语言流畅性;在宏观层面,段间连贯性不足,以及语用错误也较常见,削弱了译文的整体可读性与效果。据此,该研究提出了三点建议:第一,翻译教学应加强语法训练,帮助学生减少常见的语法错误;第二,教授学生句法衔接技巧,提升译文的结构紧凑性与连贯性;第三,注重培养学生的语篇连贯意识,使其能够在翻译过程中更好地把握原文意图,确保译文的忠实性和高质量的传达效果。 This study,based on a corpus and using Carl James'error analysis theory,systematically analyzes the distribution of errors made by student translators in translating news for a university website.The research reveals that students frequently commit grammatical errors at the micro-level,significantly affecting the accuracy and fluency of the translations.At the macro-level,problems such as insufficient logical coherence between paragraphs and pragmatic errors are also common,undermining the overall readability and effectiveness of the translations.In response to these findings,the study proposes three improvement suggestions.First,translation teaching should focus on enhancing grammatical correction training to help students reduce common grammar mistakes.Second,students should be taught syntactic cohesion techniques to improve the structural tightness and coherence of their translations.Third,it is important to cultivate students'awareness of discourse coherence,enabling them to better grasp the intent of the original text and ensure that their translations are both faithful and of high quality.These measures will help improve the overall effectiveness of translation teaching,thereby enhancing students'translation skills and the quality of their work.
