摘要
文章基于2008—2020年我国31个省份的面板数据,运用面板数据回归模型、面板门槛模型以及中介效应模型,实证检验了数字经济对居民消费升级的影响效果和作用机制。结果表明,数字经济对居民消费升级产生了显著而积极的作用,且该结论在排除了内生性问题及一系列稳健性检验后依然成立。同时,数字经济的消费升级效应呈现边际递增的非线性特征。机制分析表明,数字经济能够通过增加居民收入水平以及推动当地产业结构升级这两种机制实现居民消费升级。异质性分析表明,数字经济对农村地区以及东部地区居民消费升级的促进作用更加明显。
Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2008 to 2020,this paper uses the panel data regression model,the panel threshold model and the intermediary effect model to empirically test the effect and mechanism of digital econo⁃my on residents’consumption upgrading.The results are shown as following:Digital economy has a significant and positive effect on the upgrading of residents’consumption,and this conclusion still holds after eliminating the endogenous problems and a se⁃ries of robustness tests.At the same time,the consumption upgrading effect of the digital economy presents a non-linear feature of marginal increase.The mechanism analysis shows that digital economy can realize the upgrading of residents’consumption by increasing the income level of residents and promoting the upgrading of local industrial structure.The heterogeneity analysis shows that the digital economy has played a more significant role in promoting residents’consumption upgrading in rural and eastern areas.
