摘要
晚清温州学人宋恕一直以维新变法思想家和人道主义者的形象著称于世,学界对其研究也多集中在这两个方面。其实,宋恕对于三教平议、儒法之争、汉宋之争、经今古文之争以及中西之争等晚清重大学术论争皆发表过独到见解,其“力攻伪儒”的中国传统学术思辨不仅是其“藏诸石室,未敢示人”的思想精髓之所在,还为其变法思想提供了知识图景、历史坐标和理论基础,在当时学术界产生了一定的影响。系统梳理宋恕的学术思想,既可以从侧面反映出晚清学人游走于学术研究与政治运动之间的多重面相,也可以管窥中国传统学术近代转型的历史消息。
Song Shu, a scholar from Wenzhou in the late Qing Dynasty, has always been famous for his image as a reformer and a humanitarian, on which the academic circles have laid their focus. In fact, he expressed unique opinions on major academic debates in the late Qing Dynasty and his academic speculation provides a knowledge picture, historical coordinates and theoretical basis for his reform thoughts, which show the spirit of reform and have exerted a great influence on the academic circles at that time. Song Shu’s academic thoughts not only reflect the multiple aspects of scholars wandering between academic researches and political movements in the late Qing Dynasty in some degree, but also give a glimpse of the influence on the modern Chinese academic transformation.
