摘要
在嵌入式设备中,串口是最常用、最简单的接口,如何扩展CPU的串口对于多功能嵌入式设备有着重要意义。介绍了LPC2294芯片使用串行外设接口(Serial Peripheral Interface,SPI)扩展出2路串口使用的应用实例,分析了芯片SC16IS752、ADM2463的特点以及在RS485、RS422这2种使用模式下的硬件和软件设计方法。
In embedded devices,serial port is the most commonly used and simplest interface,so how to extend the serial port of CPU is of great significance to multifunctional embedded devices.This paper introduces the application example of LPC2294 chip using Serial Peripheral Interface(SPI)to expand two serial ports,and analyzes the characteristics of SC16IS752 and ADM2463,as well as the design methods of hardware and software in RS485 and RS422 modes.
