Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of external application with Shuangbai San(双柏散)on blood circulation venomous snake bite. Methods:A total of 60 cases from January 2017 to December 2019 were enrolled and divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine Western medicine, and the observation group was given external application with Shuangbai San.Results:The total efficiency in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3 days after treatment in the two groups, the pain score and swelling degree of the affected limb were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).10 days after treatment in the two groups, the above indexes were significantly lower than those before treatment and 3 days after treatment(P<0.05).3 days and 5 days after treatment in the observation group, the above indicators were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group during treatment was lower than the control group, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Routine Western medicine plus external application with Shuangbai San on venomous snake bite can significantly ameliorate local pain symptoms, promote the reduction of swelling of the affected limb, and improve the clinical efficacy, with high safety.
